Wampler hit 1 of 2 free throws with 58 seconds left to cut the Bulldogs’ lead to 62-60. MSU hit 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch before Wright State’s Cole Gentry hit a late 3 for the final margin.
Wright State opens Horizon League play Friday night vs. UIC at the Nutter Center.
