About Wright State: Basile, who has replaced the injured Loudon Love the last five games, has averaged 13.8 points and 10.0 rebounds over that span. Back-up post James Manns has averaged 19.3 points and 6.7 boards the last three games. … Wright State is ranked 17th in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 this week. Horizon League rival Northern Kentucky is 22nd. … The Raiders were 57 of 157 (36.3 percent) on 3's in the first seven games but are 32 of 119 (26.9) in the last five. They've also given up an average 14.2 offensive rebounds in Love's absence, and Nagy said: "That's got to stop. Toledo will pound us." … But their three losses have been by one point, two points and in overtime. Told his team is close to being undefeated, Nagy said: "We are, but we've had an overtime win and could be 6-6, too. Our record is what it is. We're fortunate to be 9-3, especially without Loudon."

About Toledo: The Rockets had their five-game winning streak snapped in 72-57 loss Tuesday at Missouri-Kansas City. They shot a season-low 33.3 percent. … They're ranked 13th in the Mid-Major Top 25. They have a two-point overtime loss at Notre Dame but are 3-0 against the Horizon League, beating Oakland, Detroit and Cleveland State. …They went 25-8 last season, losing in the first round of the NIT at Xavier. They played at Wright State and were dealt an 84-74 defeat. Knapke had 20 points, while Gentry poured in 30 for the Raiders … The Rockets were picked to finish first in the MAC West in a vote of the coaches. They won the division last year and have posted four 20-win seasons in the last six years. Marreon Jackson was a preseason all-league pick.

Coming up: Nagy wanted to allow the players to have a day off on Christmas, but the schedule wouldn't allow it. He'll send them home after a light practice Sunday and bring them back Christmas morning. The Raiders host Green Bay at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in their league opener.
