It’s possible for Cozart to pass Concepcion in two seasons at his pace, and Larkin isn’t unfathomable. But both depend on if the Reds re-sign Cozart this winter.
The Reds are also attempting to set a team record with six players hitting 20 or more home runs (they currently have five). Cozart represents their only realistic chance at breaking the mark, sitting at 17 homers.
