For more than a decade, Facebook has controlled social media, showing us what everyone in our social circle is doing, and even what they're eating.
To celebrate its 12th birthday, Facebook is now celebrating the connections users have made thanks to the online social network.
They're calling today, Feb. 4, Facebook Friends day.
And when you log on today, you'll see special Friend's Day videos that your Facebook friends have created and will have a chance to watch your own.

You can also add stickers to your and your friend's posts. One is called "Best Friends" and "Friendship" and they're free in the sticker store.
And while Facebook is celebrating a dozen years, you may see #BeforeFacebook trending on social media.
