Today will be hot with increasing clouds and isolated to scattered thunderstorms occurring this evening, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Some of these storms are bringing heavy rain, gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning, the NWS said. Storm chances will taper off by midnight, and clouds will gradually decrease throughout the evening and overnight.

There is an Air Quality Alert in effect across the area until midnight tonight, issued by the Southwest Ohio Air Pollution Control Agency, the Regional Air Pollution Control Agency and the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission.
Levels of air pollution across the area may exceed unhealthy levels for sensitive groups, including small children, elderly people and people with respiratory illnesses.
During the alert, residents are asked to help reduce pollution by carpooling, biking, walking or taking the bus to work instead of driving, and avoiding refueling before 8 p.m., idling your vehicle, or using gas-powered lawn equipment.
Highs will be around 92 degrees, and lows will be around 61 degrees.
Sunday will be sunny and hot, with highs around 90 degrees, and Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows around 56 degrees.
There will be more sunshine during the day on Monday, with some partly cloudy skies. . Highs will be around 86 degrees.
Monday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 60 degrees.
