DETAILED FORECAST

Skies will remain clear as we head into the overnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

That, combined with lower dew points, is the recipe for a cold night. Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 30s and some areas mainly north of Interstate 70 could be closer to the middle 30s.

Some patchy frost is possible early Friday, Collar said.

Friday: We'll see more sunshine after a cold start to the day. Temperatures are only expected to top out in the middle 60s so it will again be a cool day.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies are expected with temperatures topping out in the lower to middle 70s.

Sunday: Rain is expected. While it won't be a washout, you'll want to keep the umbrella handy if you have any plans to be out. Highs will be in the middle 70s.
