DETAILED FORECAST:

Overnight: It will be mostly cloudy with a few passing sprinkles or light rain showers early in the night, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Clouds linger into the morning with lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday: A stray shower will be possible in areas south early, but then clouds break for sunshine into the afternoon from northwest to southeast. Temperatures will be closer to normal with highs in the middle 70s.

Friday: The workweek will end with dry weather and highs temperatures in the 80s with sunshine and scattered clouds.

Saturday: The weekend will start off dry, warm and muggy. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Scattered clouds are possible, especially to the north, and a stray shower is possible.

Sunday: Warm and muggy conditions continue. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s with a chance for a shower in areas north.
