A Wind Chill Warning goes into effect at 4 a.m. Jan 30 to 1 p.m. Jan. 31 for Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Wayne (Indiana) counties, and from 10 p.m. Jan. 29 through 1 p.m. Jan. 31 for Randolph County, Ind. Wind chills as low as 30 below zero are expected with winds gusting as high as 25 mph.

Overnight: The potential for slippery roads led to a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday across the region. As temperatures dramatically drop through the night, wet roads may flash freeze, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. "Watch out for this, especially by morning with lows in the middle teens," Vrydaghs said. Clouds will linger through the night with a few flurries possible. It will be windy at times, too, with gusts between 25 and 35 mph. Wind chills by morning will drop below zero.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and cold. Temperatures will range in the teens throughout the day with wind chills below zero all day. An arctic front will bring scattered light snow showers late evening. Light snow accumulation of a coating to a half inch is possible. Temperatures drop below zero with wind chills as low as 25 to 35 below zero by daybreak.

Wednesday: Subzero temperatures in the morning with wind chills 25 to 35 below zero with some spots as low as minus 40 degrees. Mostly cloudy and dangerously cold all day. Highs will hover around zero with gusty winds at times through the day and flurries possible. At night wind chills will drop again and temperatures fall below zero.
Thursday: Dangerously cold morning. Wind chills in the morning will range from 25 to 35 below zero with some spots down to 40 below zero. Afternoon highs climb to the lower to middle teens. Wind chills will improve slightly to minus 5 to minus 15. At night passing light snow showers start pushing in.
Friday: Scattered light snow possible, especially in the morning. Highs in the upper 20s. Light accumulation possible. Snow ends into late day into the evening.
Saturday: Mostly sunny skies and warmer with highs in the lower 40s.
