Valentine's Day: A dry start to Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds. We'll see a warmer afternoon with highs reaching the upper 40s.

Some light rain showers are possible with a better chance for showers into the evening and overnight.

Winds will pick up in the afternoon with gusts around 25 mph expected.

Friday: We'll see a chance for a few lingering showers before sunrise, but clouds will break for some sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler with highs only reaching the upper 30s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy for most during the day with highs reaching the middle 30s. A quick-moving system moves into the area, bringing a chance for some light snow showers south of Dayton, mainly in Butler, Warren and Clinton counties that could lead to a light coating of snow. However, most of the area will remain dry.

Sunday: Scattered snow showers move back into the area in the morning. Warmer air from the south might cause a transition to rain before noon. As colder air returns Sunday night, all precipitation will change back to snow showers before coming to an end.

A light accumulation is possible.

Monday: Partly sunny and cold with highs in the middle 30s.
