Full moon and clear skies tonight

Families in the Miami Valley are in for a treat Tuesday night.

The full moon will light up the sky and should be very easy to find without many clouds expected. Temperatures will be mild this evening eventually dropping into the middle 60s.

If you head out around 8:45 p.m., you should be able to easily spot the moon rising in the eastern sky. It will stay up through the night and set toward west early in the morning.

Technically the moon becomes "full" around 6:56 p.m., but it will be below the horizon. If you take a picture don't forget to share it using our FREE Whio Weather app or on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
