Chance for shower tonight; Tropical Storm Cindy could bring rain Friday

A passing shower or storm is possible tonight, mainly in areas north of I-70, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

DETAILED FORECAST 

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies are expected into the early evening but clouds will gradually increase. There will be a chance for a passing shower or storm mainly in areas north of I-70. Temperatures will fall into the lower 60s overnight.

WEDNESDAY: More sunshine is in the forecast with even warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

THURSDAY: Dry weather is expected through the day with plenty of sunshine. There is a chance for a shower or storm late Thursday evening or into the night. Highs will reach into the upper 80s.

FRIDAY: Numerous showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast. An isolated strong storm can't be ruled out. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

SATURDAY: A few showers or storms are possible, mainly early in the day. Otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with highs near 80 degrees.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny skies and slightly cooler temperatures are expected. There is a chance for a passing shower or storm. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
