A push of cold air expected in the Miami Valley

After a mild day Saturday and another warm day expected Sunday, temperatures will begin to feel more winter-like as a push of cold air returns to the Miami Valley.

Averages highs in early February average around the middle 30s, but by the middle part of the coming week, temperatures will top out in the 20’s.

The long range models indicate that there isn’t a lot of relief in the future. According to the Climate Prediction Center, there’s a good chance that the Miami Valley will see below normal temperatures all the way through February 20t, keeping in mind that the average highs is in the middle 30s.
