Partly cloudy skies are expected with pop-up showers and a few thunderstorms, StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.
“An isolated storm or two could be strong and may produce wind gusts up to 50 mph and some small hail,” Elwell said. Any storms should weaken after sunset. Temperatures will fall back into the 50s.
Overnight: Any remaining showers or storms after sunset will dissipate with clearing skies late. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40s by daybreak.
Saturday: Mostly sunny skies are expected to start the weekend with more seasonable temperatures in the middle 60s.
Sunday: Another mainly sunny day is expected with higher temperatures. After a cool start in the lower 40s, highs will reach back into the middle 70s by late afternoon.
Monday: Skies will become partly cloudy with more clouds arriving late. It will be breezy and unseasonably warm with highs near 80 degrees. There will be the chance for showers or storms by late evening or night.
Tuesday: A few showers will be possible early in the day with lingering clouds. Temperatures will be slightly lower, near 70 degrees.
Wednesday: The day will start dry with some sunshine. Clouds will increase with the threat for showers or storms late in the day. After a cool morning in the middle 40s, highs will rebound back to around 70 degrees.
