Three planets shine bright in the sky this week

Three planets will be visible from March 7 through March 11 before dawn, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini, and the moon will be your guide to finding them this week.

>>Look for Venus, Mercury in the March evening sky

March 7 and 8 look to the south/southeast before the sun comes up (from midnight until 7 a.m.) and you should be able to find the moon and then the planet Jupiter which will be just below the moon.

March 9 through March 11, the moon will be close to Mars and Saturn. On the 9th, Mars and Saturn will be to the bottom left of the moon. By the 10th, the moon will be between the two planets.

Remember a planet will shine steady and bright, it won't twinkle like a star. If you can snap a picture of these planets don't forget to share it using the hashtag #SkyWitness7.
