Two planets partner up this week and will be visible in the early morning sky.
60-90 minutes before sunrise this week, head outside and look to the east. Venus and Mars will be visible before the sunrise, around 7:30 a.m.
Venus will be easy to find since it is very bright. On October 5th, Mars will be just below Venus shining dimmer but still visible.
You might want to try some binoculars to get an even better view. It will also be helpful to find a part of the eastern horizon that doesn't have a lot of trees or buildings to get in your way.
