Roads may become slick as snow will likely stick, especially on elevated and untreated surfaces. A light accumulation of a coating to a half inch is possible before lunchtime.
As temperatures rise into the afternoon, some rain will begin to mix in from the south. This should help a bit with the roads into the evening commute. Rain/snow mix will end into the evening, but as temperatures drop after sunset, refreeze will become a problem.
Highs for the day will rise to the lower to middle 30s. A few flurries or snow showers may return after midnight as winds turn out of the northwest.
