WPAFB Thursday Weather: Morning fog, muggy conditions expected

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—Patchy areas of fog will start the day, but it should burn off by mid-morning, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Skies will become mostly sunny by noon but a few clouds will filter by during the afternoon. Temperatures will reach back into the middle 80s with muggy conditions.

Some thunderstorms may approach the Valley later tonight, but should fall apart before arriving. Temperatures will drop back into the middle 60s by Friday morning with another chance for some patchy fog.

Pop-up storms will return to the region Friday and Saturday afternoon, and will likely linger into early next week. High temperatures are expected to cool slightly, into the lower 80s by the end of the weekend.
