WPAFB Thursday Weather: Temperatures still on the rise towards week’s end

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—Clouds will continue to slowly break today with temperatures on the rise, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Some afternoon sunshine will help push temperatures into the lower 80s. Partly cloudy skies will stick around tonight into Friday with a slight chance for some pop-up storms by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will continue to climb, rising into the middle 80s.

Florence is expected to remain south of the area through the weekend allowing for dry weather Saturday and Sunday. However, clouds will increase by late Sunday with showers developing in the area early next week.
