WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Morning snowfall; up to 4 inches expected

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—Snow will start the day along with some sleet possible, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Snowfall amounts will range from 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible, especially to the east. The snow will taper off by late morning with clouds lingering through the day.

There is a chance for some passing flurries in the evening as winds switch out of the northwest. Highs will hold in the upper 20s. The clouds will break some tonight with temperatures dropping into the lower teens by Thursday morning.

Relatively calm but cool weather is expected Thursday and Friday with highs in the 30s. A chance for rain or snow will return for the weekend.
