After a dry and warm morning with temperatures rising through the 70s, temperatures will climb into the 90s with heat index values reaching the lower to middle 90s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

Gusty winds arrive in the afternoon, which will be sunny with scattered clouds increasing.
