WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Temperatures warm-up by afternoon

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—More sunshine will help a major warm-up get underway today after a chilly morning, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Gusty winds will develop out of the southwest and bring up warmer temperatures that will push into the upper 50s by late afternoon. It will not be as cold tonight either with partly cloudy skies and lows holding in the 40s. Clouds will increase tonight and there is a chance for a quick passing shower toward daybreak Thursday.

Clouds will then move out with gusty winds and mild temperatures soaring to near 70 degrees Thursday afternoon. It will stay mild into the start of the weekend before a cold front brings rain and chillier temperatures late Saturday into Sunday.
