A wintry mix of snow to sleet and freezing rain will occur during the morning drive.

An accumulating snow between 2 to 4 inches is possible early followed by a thin glaze of ice. As temperatures rise through the morning, a slushy mess will develop. Eventually, all precipitation will transition to scattered showers likely by midday. Due to snow-melt and additional rainfall, isolated ponding on the roads is possible for the remainder of the day.

Highs for the day will rise above normal into the middle 40s. Any lingering showers may change to a few flurries before ending Wednesday night.
