Awesome finds at this weekend's Oregon District estate sale

History buffs, longtime Daytonians, unique gift lovers: we've found the estate sale for you.

This weekend, the doors at 315 E. Sixth St. will open to the public, unveiling all of the treasures just waiting to be picked up inside its modern red-bricked walls.

Principal Estate Sales is hosting the estate sale Dec. 5-6 at the once-carpet and tile store, now a renovated modern minimalist home. While the architecture of the home is already a marvel in and of itself, you can actually take the real treasures home with you.

Here are just a few of the items that we've already got our eyes on...

• Amazing vintage furniture

  Cabinets, writing desks, stools, chairs, beds... you could practically furnish an entire new house with the available furniture in this house. Especially notable are two custom-made wooden storage hutch/armoires by longtime Dayton cabinet makers, 3rd Street Workshop.

  These four pictures do not do justice to the number of vintage cameras and accessories available. There are well over 20 vintage cameras for sale, from Holgas to Polaroids to Brownies to Yashicas. You can find antique lenses, filters, plenty of old-school film, and more. Whether you need an old camera for a movie shoot, or for your personal use, we highly recommend taking a glance at their collection.

  Why buy the same old China as everyone else when you can rock some gorgeous vintage dishes and glassware instead? This green Nils china set from Denmark in particular caught our eye. More kitchenware includes vintage toaster, miscellaneous broilers and pots, coffee pot, kitchen stools, and more.
