A nutrition club, which offers different types of shakes, teas and aloes, will celebrate its grand opening today in Beavercreek.

Level-Up Nutrition is located at 1275 North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek’s Fairfield Plaza, offers single-serving nutrition shakes, teas and aloes.

Owners Ben McGriff and Jared Timmons started the business out of a desire to get the Dayton community invested in exercise and nutrition. McGriff said the two are passionate about healthy living, and often host free exercise classes at local parks.

Customers can pay $6 for a nutrition shake, tea and aloe during one visit. The aloe, McGriff said, comes in a tiny cup like a shot glass. It can be mixed with the tea or taken by itself — and helps digestive health and hydration levels.

“We wanted to help the community find healthier lifestyles,” McGriff said.

He said exercise is important, but sometimes people don’t recognize the that nutrition needs to be valued just as much.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony is courtesy of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce, and starts at 11 a.m.
