Discount retail chain to open store near Dayton Mall next week

Discount retailer Bargian Hunt is opening its new store in Miamisburg next Friday.

The store is set to open on March 24 at 8336 Springboro Pike in a 25,000-square-foot space. This is the sixth Bargain Hunt to open in Ohio, with other stores in Cincinnati, Columbus, Heath and Springfield.

The store offers merchandise anywhere from 30 to 50 percent below normal retail prices. Merchandise includes apparel, bed and bath accessories, electronics, home furnishings, furniture, toys, baby supplies and kitchen appliances.

“We know that customers are interested in value-driven retailers,” said Don Gozzard, vice president of retail operations. “We’re one of the best at providing national products and brands at a great value.”

Bargain Hunt has stores in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Indiana, Ohio, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. In 2016, Bargain Hunt opened up 20 news locations, and plan to add 25 or more locations in 2017.
