Miami Twp. real estate firm buys $65M Denver complex

The Connor Group, a Miami Twp. real estate investment firm, has expanded into the Denver area.

The company has acquired for $65 million the upscale apartment complex Broadstone Gardens at Cherry Creek.

Broadstone Gardens at Cherry Creek was built in 2014 in the Cherry Creek subdivision. The apartments offer nearby locations such as the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and Cherry Creek North, which together offer a mix of indoor and outdoor retail and dining options, art galleries, independently-owned boutiques, spas, and upscale stores such as Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton and Burberry.

This marks the 12th location for the company, which started with only three locations in Dayton in 1992.

“We identified Denver as a possible market for expansion in our 2016 strategic planning process. We’ve been looking at a number of Class A properties in Class A locations and waiting for the right opportunity. This is a great way to launch a new market, with a high-end community in a well-established area,” said owner Larry Connor.
