A Beavercreek defense contractor has won a U.S. Navy contract valued at nearly $13 million — and possibly far more.

Frontier Technologies has been awarded a $12,808,653 contract for information technology work and the procurement of airborne systems life cycle management tools.

This contract includes options which, if exercised, could raise the value of the work to $69,496,924, the Department of Defense said.

Work will be performed in San Diego; Washington, D.C.; Patuxent River, Md.; Norfolk, Va. and elsewhere. and is expected to be completed by February 2021, and February 2025 if all options are exercised.

“The services under this contract support wide-ranging initiatives including information technology capabilities, communications, engineering, analysis, planning, assessment, design, hardware and software, operations and administration of network and communications systems for Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific,” the DoD announcement said.

The contracting activity originated with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, in Corona, Calif., the DoD said.

Last summer, Frontier won a $13 million contract with the Navy and a $47 million contract with the U.S. Air Force. The company has about 75 Dayton-area employees.
