Beavercreek firm wins $47M cyber defense project

A Beavercreek company has won a $47 million contract for defensive cyber operations, the Department of Defense has announced.

Frontier Technology Inc. — which counts an office on Col. Glenn Highway as its headquarters — has won a $47 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for supporting enterprise ground system and defensive cyber operations, the DoD said Monday.

This contract award provides for cross-domain solutions, design, integration and rapid delivery team services. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo.; Beverly, Mass.; and Los Angeles, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 19, 2024.

Fiscal 2019 research and development funds in the amount of $1,876,545 are being obligated at the time of award, the government said.

Last year, the same company celebrated a four-year, $32.4 million award from the U.S. Navy.

The work was contracted by the Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base.
