The shopping center is anchored by several national retailers including Toys “R” Us/Babies ‘R’ Us, Michael’s, PetSmart, LA Fitness and Gabriel’s. The Mall of Fairfield Commons itself is anchored by JCPenney, Sears, Lazarus, Parisian’s and Elder-Beerman.
Helen Putterman, president of Cohen Real Estate, is leading the marketing initiative “for the forthcoming sale of on behalf of a private company,” Cohen said in a statement. A spokeswoman said no buyer has been identified yet.
The area of the shopping center is very busy, home to national retailers like Bed, Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Office Max and Men’s Warehouse. The shopping center also has cross access with an adjacent Target store, Cohen noted.
“Between the location, the tenants and the demographics, Beavercreek is a perfect opportunity for an investor looking for a fully-occupied, income-producing asset with strong sales volume and very little maintenance,” Putterman said in the company’s statement.
Built in 1995 and redeveloped since, Beavercreek Shopping Center is on a 30-acre site and also includes a 1,225-space parking lot.
