“Bauma provides us a tremendous opportunity to engage our customers and showcase Caterpillar products and services in a region of the world that is important to the company’s success and future growth,” Doug Oberhelman, Caterpillar vice chairman and chief executive-elect, said in a statement from the company.
Caterpillar Logistics intends to build a $1.3 million-square-foot distribution center in Clayton. The center is expected to employ 500 to 600 people when completed.
