CEO named at Good Samaritan Hospital

Premier Health Partners has changed its leadership lineup.

Beginning next month, Mark Shaker, now CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital, will become senior vice president of service integration for the health system, which operates four hospitals in the region.

In his new role, Shaker will work with physician, hospital and network leadership to implement new key strategies throughout the system. He’s been with Premier Health Partners for more than 27 years, and was named CEO in 2008 after working there as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Previously, he spent 14 years at Miami Valley Hospital, and five years as CEO of Fidelity Health Care.

Eloise Broner, currently chief operating officer at Good Samaritan, will replace Shaker as president and CEO at Good Samaritan Hospital. She’s been chief operating officer at the hospital for the last three years, and previously worked at Miami Valley Hospital as vice president of operations.

Broner is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of Wright State University’s board of trustees.
