The Dayton City Commission approved zoning changes and planned development Wednesday for the former county fairgrounds.

RELATED: $29M infrastructure needed for onMain early phases

The project is led by onMain Inc., a development organization formed by Premier Health and the University of Dayton, which jointly own the 38-acre site between Stewart, South Main and Apple streets across from Miami Valley Hospital.

The first phase of onMain will start at Stewart and Main streets and work inward. A rendering shows what the initial neighborhood could look like. CONTRIBUTED
