Commercial real estate brokerage gets new leader

DAYTON — James A. Donlin has been named managing principal of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s offices in Dayton and Cincinnati, the company said Friday, Sept. 4.

Donlin, a graduate of Xavier University, steps into his new position on Sept. 8, according to a news release from the commercial real estate brokerage.

In Dayton, Donlin will oversee an office with a staff of nine and in Cincinnati a staff of 115. In his new job, Donlin will focus on “business growth, recruiting and staff development,” the company said.

Donlin previously served as president and chief executive of Van Millwork, a Boston company that sells interior trim and architectural millwork, CTMT said in a statement.

Donlin, who could not be immediately reached for comment, said in a statement that CTMT remains profitable and continues to invest in people.

Mark Burkhart, president and chief executive of CTMT, said in a statement that Donlin’s experience outside the commercial real estate industry will benefit the company.

“Jim is a necessary and welcome addition to our Dayton and Cincinnati offices,” Burkhart said.
