In a meeting Wednesday afternoon at the Main Library, the Dayton Metro Library Board of Trustees approved Staffco Construction of Fairborn as the prime general contractor for the expansion.
Staffco Construction submitted the lowest bid at $3,887,000.
Shook Construction will be the construction manager for the expansion, with Levin Portin as architect of record.
The West Carrollton branch is to reopen in Fall 2018.
