The company has been at the location for some time, with about 28,000 square feet of space, Smith said. It just signed a lease extending its occupancy for five years, he said. The expansion will give the company more room for offices, Smith said.

Retail giant Walmart had previously occupied the company’s new space on a short-term basis, using the site as a staging area for installing and remodeling store fixtures, Smith said. Walmart no longer uses the space.
Future Metals, LLC, a raw materials distributor to the aerospace industry, has been in Dayton since January 2014.
The Tamarac, Fla.-based company called its Dayton location its ninth worldwide distribution facility and its sixth in the United States.
“Our Dayton facility opening was a strategic move in order to support our customers by streamlining first operations straight into production,” Dayton branch manager Dave Wallace said in 2014.
