Deutsch joins Rotary
Douglas Deutsch joined the Dayton Rotary Club on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016. He is a Partner with Complete Solutions Inc. and a resident of Englewood.
WYSO adds two to staff
Public radio station WYSO 91.3FM has announced two new members of its staff.
Jess Mador has joined the station as managing editor and economic reporter. Her reporting will be heard during drive time, on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
Mador comes to WYSO from Knoxville NPR-station WUOT, where she created an interactive multimedia health storytelling project called TruckBeat, one of 15 projects around the country participating in AIR’s Localore: #Finding America initiative. She’s also worked as a staff reporter and producer at Minnesota Public Radio in the Twin Cities, and produced audio, video and web stories for a variety of other news outlets, including NPR News, APM, and PBS television stations.
Arick Mittler is WYSO's new Business Manager. A Wright State University graduate, he managed the Dayton Holocaust Resource Center. Before joining the WYSO team, he managed business operations for a Dayton area utility company for seven years.
Public radio station WYSO 91.3 is licensed to Antioch College with studios in Yellow Springs.
Routsong-Wiechers hired at Haven
Lynne Routsong-Wiechers was recently named Community Educator for Haven Behavioral Hospital of Dayton. With over 24 years of behavioral health marketing, teaching/training and direct clinical practice, she holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and a Master's Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University.
Most recently, Routsong-Wiechers was the Business Development Director for Kettering Health Network/Senior Behavioral Unit where she created marketing programs, developed strong healthcare community relationships and provided CEU presentations. In addition, she is an adjunct professor in the University of Dayton Department of Social Work where she teaches classes in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice and anthropology.
Routsong-Wiechers has a private counseling practice where she provides outpatient counseling to individuals, couples and families. She is currently pursuing her Universal Continuing Education Provider license.

Sharp earns CPA designation
Robert D. Sharp has earned the prestigious "Fellow" designation from the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) for completing the three levels of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI). This achievement demonstrates Sharp's dedication to protecting taxpayer rights and attests to his expertise in tax.
NTPI Fellows have completed a demanding three-part curriculum that has uniquely prepared them to effectively represent their clients before all administrative levels of the IRS. Having successfully completed coursework covering all variances of examinations, audits, collections and appeals, and having studied best practices and role-playing, Fellows know the entire process from both the client and IRS perspective.
The course, open only to Enrolled Agents, CPAs and tax attorneys, was developed to prepare licensed representatives to protect their clients’ rights by disseminating the most recent information about IRS laws and procedures critical to representation.
