Dayton to host Ohio's largest sustainable food, farm conference

The largest sustainable food and farm conference in Ohio is coming to Dayton in February.

The Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association's 38th annual conference is scheduled for Feb. 11 at the Dayton Convention Center. The conference will feature six, 90-minute workshops that teach professionals about topics like growing their operations and choosing the right equipment.

“Our goal is to help early career and aspiring farmers increase their knowledge and skills, find leads on farmland, and make business and professional connections,” said Kelly Henderson, OEFFA Begin Farming program coordinator.

Online registration is open until Jan. 23.
