The contract was created in 2011 and is now extended by the AFRL until 2015, officials said.
“This is not only a great collaboration effort by the Air Force Research Lab and Designing Digitally, Inc., but also the universities in Ohio that are working alongside us to provide innovative ways to educate and collaborate in virtual worlds,” said Andrew Hughes, the company’s president, in a statement.
“We are very grateful to have our contract renewed and our entire team is excited to be a part of this innovative group,” he said.
