“The completion of the IST transaction constitutes an exciting and significant step toward furthering DCS’s ability to provide broad, technically superior solutions to customers in the Department of Defense and intelligence community,” said James T. Wood, DCS chairman and chief executive.
DSC announced its agreement to acquire IST earlier this month. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
IST, headquartered in Waltham, Mass., does work for several branches of the nation’s armed forces, including the Air Force. The company employs more than 100 and has principal offices in Waltham and Beavercreek.
