ExpeData releases next-generation mobile data capture application

ExpeData, a Miamisburg-based software company, has announced a new release of its naturalFORMS application that promises to increase the accuracy and efficiency of data capture on tablet devices.

Mobile workers in multiple industries use naturalFORMS to complete business forms on iPad and Android tablets using natural input such as handwriting. The application also allows users to capture photos, drawings, annotations, voice, GPS and electronic signatures.

The captured information is immediately converted to digital data, verified for accuracy, validated with enterprise rules, and available in standard file outputs for integrations.

The new version of the application, now available on the App Store, includes intelligent form fields, including real-time calculations and auto-filled fields. It also has the capability to perform an automatic form review to ensure that the data is complete and adheres to defined business rules prior to submission.

The update also includes app interface enhancements for forms navigation and search functionality to improve user experience, company officials said.

“We continue to enhance the application to meet the needs of our clients to ensure the most accurate, complete, and natural field data capture experience possible,” said Matt Palcic, ExpeData’s principal solution architect.
