Hartzell Air Movement introduces 'zero-leak' roof ventilator

PIQUA — Hartzell Air Movement, a Piqua-based industrial ventilation company, has redesigned the power roof ventilator with a new feature to decrease service time while eliminating the risk of moisture.

The addition of a zero-leak service door that moves both the propeller and motor out of the airstream has a significant impact on quick service, according to company officials.

“The new design with a zero-leak seal is a reaction to customer requests where critical systems cannot be exposed to moisture as other fans have previously allowed,” said Tom Gustafson, chief technology officer. The new design will ensure the ventilator will be leak-free for the life of the fan, he said.

Hartzell Air Movement is a maker of general and process ventilation equipment, from propeller fans to turbo pressure blowers. The company has been in business since 1875 and has manufacturing facilities in Ohio, Indiana and Singapore.
