Here’s why Wendy’s is relaunching spicy chicken nuggets

Wendy’s is bringing back its spicy chicken nuggets after more than 2 million Twitter users liked a social media post asking for the return.

Demand for Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets continued after the company pulled them off menus in most markets in 2017. On Saturday, Chance the Rapper posted about the nuggets on Twitter, and Wendy’s retweeted it saying that if 2 million people liked the fast food chain’s tweet, it would bring the nuggets back.

Early Monday morning the company tweeted that the nuggets would return. The tweet currently has 2.2 million likes.

“Y’all are crazy! That took like a day and a half! WHAT?! We don’t know when yet, gotta figure it out, but soon, and ok, LOSING IT RIGHT NOW THIS IS AMAZING,” the Tweet said.
