Hotel developer spends $477K on five acres in Butler Twp.

A limited liability company has bought 5.1 acres of land at the southwest corner of Maxton Road and York Center Drive.

Buckeye Hotels LLC paid $477,200 for the land between North Dixie Drive and Miller Lane. Muhammad Chaudhry was the seller, Montgomery County property records show. The transaction was dated last week.

Sajid Chaudhry, of Granger Ind., registered Buckeye Hotels LLC with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office in May.

The land is zoned for commercial uses.

The Dayton Daily News recently reported that Butler Twp. plans to give the business district in the Miller Lane area a new marketing push. 

The business district in Butler Twp. around Miller Lane includes a number of restaurants, hotels and shopping outlets. Dayton marketing and digital services firm Catapult Creative is still in early stages of branding work, but name options are close to being finalizing.

Currently, a Fairfield Inn is being built at the east side of York Center, while a Holiday Inn Express is being built on the west side of York Center.
