A marble and granite has purchased a Dayton showroom and industrial property, for a short move on Stanley Avenue.
Dark Star Marble & Granite bought a 27,186-square-foot industrial property at 2425 Stanley Ave. in Dayton. Beau Nimer, associate with CBRE, represented the buyer, real estate firm CBRE said in an announcement.
The property features a 19,486-square-foot warehouse and shop area and a 7,700-square-feet of office and showroom space, CBRE said. The building is located half-a-mile from a Interstate 75 interchange, two miles from downtown Dayton and three miles from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
“Dark Star has been in business since 1999 at 1353 Stanley Ave., a 7,200-square-foot facility,” Michael Robillard, Dark Star’s owner, said in CBRE’s release. “We have trained and grown nearly every employee from within the company. This move will allow us to expand our business by adding modernized equipment, a new showroom, expanded inventory and additional employees.”
A purchase price was not given in the announcement.
The company also has a Fort Wayne, Ind. address.
