Others were named to the branch body, as well. Rachid Abdallah, chair and chief executive of Jedson Engineering in Cincinnati, was appointed a director of the branch.

Holly Wiedemann, president, AU Associates, Lexington, Ky., was appointed a director, and Tucker Ballinger, president and CEO, Forcht Bank, Lexington, Ky., was reappointed a director.
Last year, Ross was the 68th recipient of the President Club of Dayton’s 2018 Citizen Legion of Honor award.
The award, given every year since 1951, is the oldest and most continuous recognition of volunteer servant leadership in the Dayton region.
Ross is the second-generation leader of Bob Ross Auto Group. She took on that role in 1997.

Her father, the late Bob Ross, was one of the first minority auto dealers in the nation.
Ross has served on numerous area boards including the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance; Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce; Dayton Development Coalition; Dayton/Montgomery County Convention & Visitors Bureau; Central State University Foundation Board and others.
Ross established the Norma J. Ross Youth Foundation in honor of her mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2010.
She has also received the the Dayton Daily News’ Ten Top Women of Dayton award and has been recognized with the Better Business Bureau Torch Award; YWCA’s Woman of Influence Award; and 50 Most Influential Women award; the Barbara Cox Automotive Woman of the Year; Urban League Pillar Award and many other honors.
