One of Dayton’s freshest spots just got wheels.

Husband and wife, Elizabeth and Dave Furst, opened The Santa Clara Juicery last summer in Elizabeth’s childhood neighborhood. The juicery, located at 1912 N. Main St., was the first step to what the duo hoped to be a revitalization of the Santa Clara neighborhood. While growing up there, Elizabeth was often helping her parents with their business, Evans Electric, after school.

“We are excited to launch the first food trailer at the Santa Clara Juicery,” Dave Furst said. “We are still confirming a permanent location, but some potential options have approached us in Centerville, Beavercreek and the (Air Force) base.”

“The original goal of the Santa Clara Juicery was to spark hope in the Santa Clara Neighborhood,” Furst said. “It is doing just that!”

Sunday, the juicery also will be celebrating its one-year birthday with festivities and a chance for customers to check out the brand new trailer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free yoga onsite at noon.

Santa Clara will be launching a brand new menu item at the event, CBD-infused juice. The birthday party will be the first opportunity for Santa Clara fans to try the new concoction.
