The former Pizza Hut location is toward the rear of the shopping center and does not have exposure to Far Hills Avenue (Ohio 48), but DiSanto said she has built a clientele in the Kettering-Oakwood area that will find her.
“It’s the right size, and the right location,” DiSanto said of the retail space that is undergoing renovation in preparation of her business opening.
After Fresco opens, customers will be able to drop in and order lunch or dinner, or order ahead for pickup, or purchase prepared items from a deli case, DiSanto said. Dinner specials will include menu items such as roasted salmon and grilled vegetables.
“We’ll post our dinner menus online daily.,” DiSanto said.
Fresco will offer some very limited seating, “but the focus is not on running a restaurant — it’s on carry-out meals taken to go,” she said. DiSanto will continue to offer catering under the new Fresco name, focusing primarily on parties of less than 300. The target date for opening Fresco is Oct. 6, DiSanto said.
