Kroger sets opening date for Austin Landing store

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — The new Kroger store in the Austin Landing development is scheduled to open on Jan. 17, a company spokeswoman said.

The 99,000-square-foot supermarket will include a drive-through pharmacy and fueling center, and will employ about 300 workers. It is located north of the Kohl’s department store that is already open at Austin Landing.

The Cincinnati-based Kroger’s newest store is expected to draw 5,000 to 7,000 customers a day, Kroger officials told Miami Twp. trustees in March.
