New clothing store opens at The Greene

A California-based clothing-store chain that offers women’s clothing in sizes 12 to 28 has opened its second Dayton-area location at The Greene Town Center.

Torrid moved into the former MacTown space at 4398 Holly St. The 3,600-square-foot store hosted its grand opening Saturday.

The clothing-store chain, launched in 2001 and based in City of Industry, Calif., has operated a location inside the Dayton Mall in Miami Twp. since 2005. It also operates stores in the Tanger Jeffersonville Outlets retail center and in the Tri-County Mall.
