A new pizza joint is poised to open in the Oak Creek Plaza in Kettering near the Kroger store.

Kettering building officials told the Dayton Daily News that plans have been submitted for a pizza and wings carryout restaurant on East Whipp Road.

WaWa Pizza will be opened by Mamoun and Kenza Tagnaouti in Oak Creek Plaza at 2128 Whipp Road. The shopping plaza is in growing area where D20: A Bar with Characters is set to open this month.

Workers are putting the finishing touches on the craft beer and gamer bar at 2144 E. Whipp Road in the Oak Creek Plaza.
